In looking at the 2024 Foundation Skills Item analysis for each question, we learned that students demonstrated strength in recalling computations, but when invited to apply this to problem solving they found it challenging. 

The data below also shows that students need practice in demonstrating conceptual understanding of computations and that they need support in applying this undersatnding to problem solving.
