Dear Kidd Community,

Good afternoon. I hope you are having a good day. I would like to take this time to thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility while waiting for us to move students into new classes. Today, staff have needed time to make some adjustments to our class placements and grade configurations for the upcoming year. We are now ready to move students into their new classes on Monday, September 8th.

We will be using the plan below to help students move into classes.

Class Placement information will be posted on the windows around the school on Friday at 8:30am.  Students’ names will be posted in Alphabetical order so please search for your name to find out class information. The students will then proceed to their outdoor lineup area. Please see attached map for Monday which will also be posted next to each list. We will have staff outside to help guide all the students.  

As shared yesterday, we want families to know that there has been a lot of thought put into class placements by staff. The process is complex and requires a lot of discussion and care. Please understand that your child’s class placement has been a product of many conversations, and they have been placed in a learning environment that best suits their needs based on the organization that we were able to create.

Attached to this e-mail is our first Week at a Glance for the school year (WAAG). It will also be posted on our school website. Looking forward to a great start to the year!
